DWRI essay # 1

Sara Berkman
DWRI 0090 2002
Sally Harvey
September 4, 2007

The Three People I Most Admire

There are three people that I like and admire a great deal and they are Dr. C Dyer-Vargas, John-Andrew Williams, and Liliana Santos. The reasons why I like them are as varied as they are in their personalities.
One of the people that I like is Dr. C Dyer-Vargas. She is a professor here at Brookhaven and teaches one of the Speech classes. I admire her because of her teaching style and being able to help give advice on personal matters. Dr. Vargas is also able to work with different learning styles and is good at adapting her teaching methods which is why she is one of the people that I like and admire.
Another one of the people that I like and admire is John-Andrew Williams who is also my boyfriend. (HELP!!!!! Advice would be welcome.)

English Assignment

The ideal job that I feel could best suit me to help the Suttonic Corporation is Off-world Magical Consulate. The reasons why I feel I would be the best person to fill this position is because of my experience with multiple types and societies of magic users.

Still nothing.

The ideal job that I feel could best suit me to help the Suttonic Corporation is Off-world Magical Consulate. The reasons why I feel I would be the best person to fill this position is because of my experience with multiple types and societies of magic users. Since I was young I’ve had the inate ability to discern on magical rules

Attempt # 3 - I LIKE THIS
I sincerely regret to inform you that I feel unable to work for Suttonic Corporation due to the fact that I do not believe that I have to work for a corporation to be successful. My main goals in life are to be successful with my own skills under my own supervision. Suttonic Corporation while being a good company is unsuited to my work style and not what I want.
I want to make my own money on my own time doing what I am good at. Working on my things is a job, no actually a lifestyle, that I have willingly chosen and intend to be successful at. I want the satisfaction knowing that when I get paid for my work is when I take the money from the buyers hand and quite frankly that is not something that a company can fufill. I actually take that last statement back because there is better wording for it. I could work in a remote branch but that really does not need supervision for the most part and I feel that supervision would be wasted on me since supervision is unnecessary in the first place.

Poetry essayish thing

The title of this poem is Riddles of the Mind. Note that this poem is not supposed to make sense as it's just me writing what I feel. I'm not doing this for profit. I'm writing to keep myself sane. Lots and lots of metaphors.

Where hath reason gone to,
In the vanish storm?
Lost for naught,
And all torn.
Despair in the day,
Take peace in the night,
In lovers arms warm with delight.
To where has tolerance flown,
Or was it gone before it was born?
There is no land of tolerance,
As long as man walks the land,
To see what he can ruin with his domineering hand.
No way to kindness,
No way to peace,
Only the bitter knowledge,
Of utter mediocrity.
Families torn asunder,
Not cared for by other men.
Roses blown asunder in the coming storm,
Gardens ruined for not what they were for.
Keep it safe in the heart,
But despair of doing right.
Any and all equality,
Will forever vanish in the night.

This is one of my few responses to the result of Proposition #2 being passed in Texas. The next one will be much more nasty.

Start of this journal

Hey all who come across this journal. This is hime_no_nishi's open writing journal. I'm going to post about all of my poetry and original fiction here. I'll be making another account for my fanfics though in all probability or I might not. This journal will only have writing on it. Plain and simple. It will not be friends locked either.
